Theory test centres in the UK
Pass rates and what to expect, for every centre publishing usable figures. The questions are identical everywhere, so read these as information about candidates, not about buildings.

Pass rate data from the DVSA driving and theory test data set, table DRT112A, published on GOV.UK under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Headline figures cover April 2024 to March 2025, the latest complete year. Centres conducting fewer than 1,000 tests a year are not listed, because small numbers produce percentages that are not statistically robust.
How to read this table
We publish it because it is public, and because most sites that publish it imply something it does not say.
Every centre draws from the same DVSA question bank and uses the same hazard perception clips and pass marks.
Centres serving areas with more first-time-in-a-fortnight bookings show lower rates. That is preparation, not geography.
A centre sitting a few hundred tests a year can move several points on noise alone. Compare like with like, which is why each centre page lists centres of a similar size.
We do not rank centres best to worst, because the ranking would be misleading and you cannot act on it anyway.
Book when you are ready, not when there is a slot
Sit a free 50 question mock, see which topics cost you the marks, and book once you are consistently clearing 90%.
