Motorcycle test questions

Is the motorcycle theory test different from the car one?

Yes. The format and pass marks match, but the question bank is motorcycle specific and the hazard clips are shot from a rider’s point of view.

Do I need CBT before the theory test?

No, but you will need it before riding on the road, and before Module 1.

How long does my theory pass last?

Two years. If you have not passed Module 2 by then, you retake the theory.

Why is the motorcycle pass rate so much higher than the car one?

Riders tend to come to it later and prepare more deliberately. The test itself is the same length, the same format and the same pass mark as the car one, so the gap is about who is sitting it rather than about difficulty.
